Yeah pretty much. It is a social institution for an agrarian pre industrial society. In the modern world it makes little sense and offers few benefits. Naturally the mostly right leaning anons of /pol/ want to go back in some form but honestly thats just unrealistic and a losing battle. The post industrial world needs new social arrangements.
