>I will never have enough money to buy a house or a car
op, i'm gonna let you in on an economic cheat.
it literally works.
i was making $13/hr. at a 40 hr./wk. job.
my paychecks were roughly $400 after taxes.
within 5 months i was able to have about $3,000 saved from $0 when i started.
the secret, only use cash, only spend $20 bills.
when you cash your check and they ask you, "how would you like it?" always respond with "whichever way is easiest for you."
this almost guarantees you will get mostly $100 bills.
the strat is simple:
>only break $100 bill if you need to, not if you want to
>only spend $20 bills, this limits your purchases
>every other denomination of bill is not to be spent, but placed in a safe
you'll be amazed at how many $1 dollar bills you'll have after just 1 month.
a $100 bill breaks to 5 $20 bills.
that limits you to a maximum of 5 purchases.
sure, you can buy something for $40, but never spend anything other than a $20 bill.
exceptions:
>paying bills, using $100 bills for this is perfectly fine
>emergencies
you won't be able to have a lot of bullshit (why would you want to), but you'll be able to have a fuckton of liquid.
all coinage goes in a jar, jar goes in safe.
never, AND I MEAN NEVER, spend the coinage.
the coinage is your life savings.
every year on your birthday deposit the coinage into a high yield savings account.
this is how you deal with wages.
after 5 years of doing this you'll have more money than you've ever had and you'll be able to start investing.
nobody taught you this in school, but this is the way.
it also stops the government from knowing how much you have since there's only the high yield savings account as a paper trail.
stay strong, stay focused, stay frugal, stay on top.
