I wouldn't care, but you know, the bible says that the son's of men have to be cut to be "part of the covenant" between him and God. But that refers to Abraham, maybe Americans see themselves as part of those "nations".

Also, kek I just saw that it says Abraham is a foreigner to Canaan. So basically jews claim that land for themselves on accords of the bible that says itself they are foreign to this place. wow, very nice legitimacy.
