There are 4 main motivators driving the Indian hate here, and its nothing to do with what >>513281723 claims.

1. The quantity. Importing millions of Jeets has driven housing / rental prices through the roof. Unless you want to live 16 to a room, this excludes the majority of young Canadians from finding a place to stay. Raising a family is out of the question. This was a moron tier decision by the Government and is reflective of the naivety of the Canadian voters.

2. The quality. This speaks to your "model citizen" sentence. Most of the Jeets we interact with are nice people. The problem is, this isnt most of the Jeets here. They import their aging parents, uncles, aunties etc who then sponge off welfare. Layer on the 'International Student" scam and suddenly you have a silent majority that only show up if you go to their ghettos or apply for a job.

3. Nepotism. They infiltrate organizations and only hire each other, the civil service, HR, law enforcement, trucking and academia are classic examples. DEI quotas set by white fools aid and abet this. Once entrenched, they are almost impossible to remove.

4. They are actually quite stupid. Not African tier (I mean there is a reason why Jeets excel as scam artistes). Worse yet, even if they are quite bright, their children will revert toward the mean Indian IQ (76) . Its impossible to raise the average Indian IQ without a rigid eugenics program or a genetic bottleneck. This causes a collapse of complex societies (read white, western).
