This country is finished. People keep voting for the same recycled politicians, then riot over corruption, only to put in another group that does the exact same thing. The cycle never ends. The only real chance of salvation would’ve been joining the EU, but that ship has sailed, we could’ve been on par with Croatia by now. Instead nothing significant has developed in the last decade outside of some bridges and roads the Chinese built. The trajectory is toward becoming a Moldova or Transnistria tier failed state, maybe even worse. The youth are leaving en masse and what’s left will eventually be 80 percent pensioners stuck in the ruins.
