I'm sure zoomers don't understand this but when I was growing up on the internet in the 90s it was always key to not give any personal information about yourself online. Web 2.0 (facebook, myspace, youtube, etc) created a business of collecting your data and selling it. These laws are just extending collecting data to building digital, government profiles on you.
The next few decades are going to be a cat and game mouse of political extremism on both sides with the government attempting to keep control until it eventually makes poor decisions and some extremist become martyrs leading to either a far left or far right wing movement taking control. There is nothing you can do to speed up or slow down what is coming without enacting your own form of political extremism.
