Why do companies like Disney, Nick, and CN pretend to not be homophobic? They literally killed shows because of lesbians (though Luz/Korra/Asami are actually bi). Owl House, Steven's Universe, and only let Korrasami happen after S3's hinting because the show was ending.

Its no wonder why they've lost the rainbow crowd. Corporate entities are utterly soulless. If it would get them a few extra dollars each quarterly profit session to portray Hitler as a good guy they'd do it.

During the 90ies, lesbians were actually used during the sweeps week to boost the ratings of their shows, because that one week decided how much income they get from ads. That was the only week religious moral watchdogs were looking away, because they got their share of the money. And usually it's one of the female cast who all of a sudden also has interest in women just in that episode with an "old flame" who just appears in that episode. It's like a Vegas trip, that episode is never discussed ever again.
Nowadays lesbians are used to save tanking shows. Straight girls will all of a sudden become bi, like in Legend of Korra and Adventure Times, but sadly since the corps started overusing this, lesbian couples became an indicator for bad shows. Notice how wokies absolutely hate it, when both female couples are lesbians and start screaming "bi-erasure" while homophobes insist that Legend of Korra would be a superb show, if not for the implied and not shown lesbian kiss at the end, making it clear that these people either never watched it or did indeed forget about it, because LoK was indeed not memorable.

I never watched AT but I did watch LoK. All of S3 was filled with Korrasami flags and if either of those two were a boy you'd agree. Its only OUT OF NOWHERE when its LGBT people.
