Why is holocaust education a thing in US? We arent taught about German , polish or other multitude of genocides or millions that died at Japanese hands. How did it become such a focal point in US education anons? More Russian civilians died in ww2 than Jews yet we never hear about their side

This is a stupid question. Why do you think it wasn't taught?
