Why do many great artists have messed up families?
I’ve noticed that even top tier artists and musicians often have messed up families. David Lynch for instance has a daughter who is a crusty old feminist who posts sjw stuff all day, despite the fact that he was seen as pretty based.
Other great musicians I know of sometimes have ugly spouses and a trail of messed up family stuff, or end up childless or cucked.
Why is there this disconnect between their high status and their supposed understanding of human nature present in their art and the outward manifestation in their lives?
