Some christians are great people, have great values, have wonderful families and stuff, but when I go read actual christian scripture and it's full of this kike shit about chosen people and desert tales, it makes me gag a little bit you know, I can't support this religion for the future of the world.

Michael Laitman and others (can't remember names right now) talk about how the stories in the Bible are not about history and not about groups of people, but about you, about the mind. The various places in the Bible, Egypt, Babylon etc are not places but metaphors for spiritual states. I think it makes sense. Also the Old Testament story about the Jewish people and the New Testament story about Jesus are the same story, just one using "the Jewish people" as metaphor and the other using "Jesus". For example the Jewish people being led through the Red Sea is metaphor for the same thing as Jesus being resurrected. Egypt is the underworld Jesus was in. The Jewish people being in Canaan which is on the other side of the Red Sea is when Jesus was back in life.
