Is it true that Franco didn't kill as many Communists/Anarchists?
He was kinda of merciful because after the civil war he could have executed millions of them but forced them to work instead to achieve freedom

The truth is that the Civil War was nasty on both sides, and they executed/ostracized most of the ideological opponents and captured combatants

Tortellini almost bankrupted Italy all for the sake to him 'their' guys to win with the goal of making Spain an Italian puppet.
Then suddenly Franco came out of nowhere and took over the leadership of the right which ended up with him winning and Spain staying neutral and not a puppet of Italy.
Germany just went in to try a few new weapons and new tactics nothing else.
The commies were so retarded and relocated all of their gold to the Soviets for weapons and all they got in return was some WWI and even older garbage stuff and the gold forever gone.
No one really won and got his goals except Franco which was a simple military guy and devout Catholic.
