day 2 - 4 are the worst honestly. i downed a 5th a day and then some for about 2 years straight after my dad got sick. and i had to balance welding with a steady hand... which led to my divorce, which led to another year. but when it came time to whipe my dads ass i had to detox too.. not even joking. i would say get a .5 klonopin/clonazepam twice a day maybe 3 times a day on a two week supply but you gotta be careful. cuz if you get hooked on benzos long term the withdrawal is worse than alcohol in my experience.. and you'll end up like jordan peterson. a fallen hero. an honorary jew *barf* . honestly just go to uur doctor ask for a week of low dose klonopin u shouldnt need more than a week. and u wont get a big tollerance from j ust a week. but even if you dont by day 5 you will start to feel better. been th ere several times fren. youu will b e fine. for me it was always day 5 i felt significantly better.

I'm in day 4 now doing it alone at home but I did it so many times this one is not so hard at all.
My only pills I have besides basics is pic related and it works very well to make my body and mind calm.
I just play all the day videogames so I can force my mind on something.
Normally after 10 days the body is completely detoxificated.
Always drink lots of water and get you some pills for sleeping, sleep recovers you the best.
If you can't get pills like distraneurin or diazepam then you can only sit it out.
After the 4th night the worst should he over and every day will become better.

I’m 18 months sober the first week is the hardest. Depending on how long and how much you been drinking it can take up to 6 months to get back to normal but the worst is over if you can make it to 7 days.
The issue with that is you start feeling better after a week and your brain can trick you into drinking then you got to start the process all over again.

First 30 days are hard, then it starts getting easier. If you want inspiration look up books on ex-addicts kicking the habit or people on youtube who've turned their life around and how great they feel

You'll probably get sugar cravings so watch out for those, best stick to having a routine with a diet. Maybe oatmeal, rye bread or brown rice to get "healthier" carbs in

True, which is why you should replace one bad habit with three bad habits and then cycle those habits daily. Three weak habits are much easier to break than one strong one.

Caffeine is a total joke and just gives you a little headache and makes it harder to sleep.
From alcohol detox you can literally die, get seizures and fall in a delirium.

Its not. Replacing weed with alcohol is whats retarded. Alcohol is far more dangerous, and weed is an easy transition.

Im not arguing that you should quit alcohol and just be stoned 24/7. But smoking hash at critical times is the only thing keeping me from alcohol, and it has been surprisingly easy since i picked up weed a year ago.

You're going through withdrawals, classic symptoms.

You can expect to be completely free of the symptoms after 4-5 more days, OP.
In that time you should make sure youre getting electrolytes and carbohydrates.
Eat some plain baked bread during your recovery to soak up the chemicals that are dislodging themselves from your organs as your body begins to heal. Eating on a loaf of bread with gatorade sips and a long TV marathon is how I beat the liquid jew. I had been drinking bottle of skyy vodka every afternoon for 1 full year and it only took me 6 days to get over it completely, just walk away from it and resent it for wasting your time and wrecking your body.

It's probably prescription-only in the US of A so ring up any Doctor acquaintance you have. Either way you are doing an amazing work mate, keep it up.
There are some other horrible withdrawals like those of SSRIs, you don't rawdog those either but take serotonin blockers like cyproheptadine or mirtazapine to offset the deadly amounts of serotonin that were running amok in one's body for the entire duration of the """therapy"""".
