I'm actually flying this Saturday but I'm going with United Airlines. Honestly I never choose Air Canada unless I have to fly domestically in the country for work.

Problem is there's a thousand applicants for every job in Canada.

I'd say they should have voted for a candidate that's against immigration/refugees but no such candidate exists. All they care about is Orange Man Bad. That's literally the only issue anyone in this country cares about. So fuck them. Tell them they either work or dozen indians will take their job for a fraction of what they want and call them racist if they think that's unfair.

Travel has become ridiculously affordable to the level that even the poors can afford to do it, leading to near universal degradation of pretty much every tourist destination. Frankly travel should cost 3x what it costs now
