He tried, didn't he? The proposal was not the worst one realistically speaking, what else could be done. After all nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine, so let them deal with their problem as they wish.

actually it was a pretty good meeting from what I hear. It involves Ukraine buying a massive amount of weapons from the US, with Europe's help. No wonder Raytheon stock has been goint to the moon over the past 2 years. I love our defense industry.

Just make sure Europe pays upfront, they promise like every week to spend 500 billions on different things. Keep in mind these all baked up by estimated amount of taxes they plan collect in the future, no other income there.
