But a "temperature shock" absolutely is a thing or rather I dont think it has anything to do with temperature but rather the dryness of the conditioned air
Ive actually noticed that I easily get a cold if I put my car A/C too low and spend there a long time (like several hours of driving) when its a hot summer
Something about the constant temperature and humidity change of jumping in and out of the car, combined with the cold A/C blowing on your face

But for some reason a car A/C or a hotel A/C that blow straight at me, do make me sick. So its absolutely a thing and you cant tell me otherwise because I literally have experienced it myself.
In my house the A/C is central so it dont have that effect because it doesnt blow on my face.
But I still dont like the dry air it makes so I pretty much never use it, I rather open the doors/windows in the summer still.

not sure if this is true. yeah when going from hot to cold the same volume of air can take less water in it.
so some water drips out of the air and it reduces the absolute humidity, but on the other hand the relative humidity goes up to 99%
