No it doesn't. Carriers are obsolete and only useful against third world countries that don't have anti-ship missiles.
Example: the Houthis damaged a US carrier and forced it out of the Red Sea with their anti-ship missiles.
Those carriers will be used like the Battleships at Pearl Harbor... big headlines about how many thousands died when the carriers were sunk by Chinese missiles to get Americans to support a war against China.
