Might be aliens, might not be aliens but an interstellar comet on our orbital plane that makes a fairly close flyby of 4 planets if you include pluto is a very rare occurrence. Even if we've only been monitoring these things for a short period of time and we don't know the frequency of these types of comets, there's no way that we get a billion of them a year which might be what is required to have a decent chance of an interstellar comet fitting this orbit. We also shouldn't rule out the possibility that it's aliens just because the biggest proponent of that theory is a kike.

The suns is gravity is pushing against it here. It shouldn't be speeding at all due to the sun.

no, it's probably from the faction that used to live on the planet between Mars and Jupiter which is now the asteroid belt, which helped genetically engineer humans on Earth after landing here as refugees from the cataclysmic war that destroyed their planet and fucked mars up and built all the precisely-aligned megalithic shit here on Earth

the one faction, the rebellious angels who taught us how to do usury and warfare and agriculture and mass hypnosis/PR/advertising/organized religion, (cf book of enoch) intermarried with earth chicks and created what we know as blue blood aristocrats and royalty who think they run Earth, and the other faction are the good part of the annunaki/nephilim/whatever you want to call them, and now they are coming back to fuck up the bad aliens and help humanity evolve and rejoin the galactic community so we can pursue our destiny among the stars. i hope. because i'm sick of this bullshit. earth could be so beautiful so easily if the satanic psychopaths who are only .0001% of the population didn't fuck it up for the rest of us because they thought they're above God

if the (((moon))) is non schitzo in anyway fucked with it GG's earth

for some reason we have a litteral controll satelite in our orbit that makes 90% of the planet's systems function correctly includeing us.

if it slamms in and fucks with the moon in anyway it will be disastrous

(or the impact wont be that impressive and we will be fine)

Listen to me. The suns gravity is not an all encompassing well. It's like a fluid spinning in clockwise fashion. This comet is retrograde to that spin therefore, the suns gravity will absolutely not be expected to speed it up. What might speed it up is melting ice acting like small jets

I'm talking about angular velocity relative to the object being orbited, in this case the sun. Perhelion is ALWAYS the fastest point of an orbit around the sun. It doesn't matter which way an object is coming from, relative to the sun the object is speeding up until it reaches that point. This is basic orbital mechanics 101. Since earth is also moving in orbit around the sun, and thus moving with the sun, it's speed is increasing relative to us as well.
>gravity is a swirling drain
No it fucking isn't, it's a constant inward pull towards the center of mass. Things swirl around a gravity well because of that constant inward pull combined with the objects speed, like when you have a ball tied to a string and spin it in a big circle. The gravity is that string. Gravity will always pull towards the center of mass.

We could look and see if any gamma ray burts occurred along it's projected path to confirm.

We evolved because we have the perfect balance of an atmosphere and are in the right spot regarding the sun to make it happen. Our moon wasn't created by mars or some other dumb shit you fucks come up with like it being a dormant space ship. Terraforming Earth wasn't fucking necessary because we are in the right spot. Hence why no other fucking planet in our solar system has life. Jesus you niggers need to be shot.

You can calculate the kinetic energy and convert to megatons of tnt.

Assume 3km of diameter, thatโ€™s a volume of around 30km^3 of ice. Using a density for ice of about 1000kg/m^3 we obtain a weight of about 30 trillions kilograms. We now plug in the velocity square factor: at 60 km/s we obtain about 4 by 10^9 m^2/s^2.

As such, the energy is 1/2 by 3 by 10^13 kg by 4 by 10^9 m^2/s^2 = 6 by 10^22 Joules that is approximately 10^7 megatons.

10^7 megatons looks like a big number, and is indeed about one hundreds thousands times as powerful as the Tsar bomb, the most powerful nuke ever exploded. On the other hand, if compared to the Chicxulub asteroid impact that extinguished the dinosaurs, it was at least ten times more powerful than that.

As such, it is obvious that Mars will not be disintegrated, and the only thing this comet can do is to make a very big impact crater

Absolutely: Hubble needs to be directed at least 50 degrees away from the sun to avoid damage. In the other hand itโ€™s maybe possible to point Space solar observatories such as SOHO, SDO, and Solar Orbiter toward Mars for the passage?

assuming its not just a rock, it could just be here to build the other end of a wormhole.
wormholes bridge time and space so it doesn't matter how long it takes for the other end to be established, from the builders perspective the gate opens immediately. when they step through it, they could be traveling millions of years into the future

You can't really compare astrophysics and building an engine with curing diseases or doing genetic engineering.
Also you can't pick your autism. If he has the spaceship autism he'll invent that, not cancer cures.
And how about before you get the cancer cure you stop all this plastic waste shit, and burning so much stuff, and releasing industrial waste, and so on and on. Stop causing problems before asking for solutions to the problems you created? Space is not burdened by such a thing, at least as far as we can see right now; it could change drastically when ayylmaos show up.
Most problems on earth can only be solved through violence.

I didn't think about that. The date in my cap should be taken as approximate so it could land a few days in either direction.

I figure there are probably ancient interstellar drones camping out around stars throughout the universe that wake up periodically or upon prompting to shit a death rock at any planet that is getting too developed. A form of pest control. Detects radio waves or lasers? Rock inbound. Wakes up and detects a nice civilization taking its first steps into space? Rock inbound.

Its over.

Well, does anybody actually invest money in this shit? Obviously it costs money to develop.
But what are the returns?
The returns to developing a translight engine would be massive, but obviously this isn't something anybody should be contemplating right now when Elon Musk's Starships keep desintegrating.
What are your expectations anyway?
First you do stuff in the direct vicinity, meaning orbit, Moon, Mars. Then you can worry about the gas giants and more significant space habitats.
Then you can start to worry about engines that can reach other star systems in centuries time.

Sure, you can get amino acids and organic sludge from lightning-zapped soup weโ€™ve done that in labs (Miller-Urey experiment).
But you know what you donโ€™t get?

>Self-replicating systems
>Encoded genetic instructions (like DNA or RNA)
>Cellular membranes
>Metabolic pathways

The hard part is going from goo to code based life that copies itself, protects itself, and builds itself.

Imagine shaking a box of Legos for 4 billion years and expecting it to build a fucking 3D printer. Thatโ€™s the abiogenesis problem. "Soup" doesnโ€™t get you replication with error checking and energy conversion.

>Well, what do you think itโ€™s doing right now? Why would DNA even be a thing instead of people being golems made from clay like Adam?

The issue isnโ€™t how DNA functions now, we get that. Itโ€™s beautifully designed code that stores, copies, and builds proteins.

The real question is How did it arise before anything else could even support it???

DNA requires a complex environment to function like Polymerases, Ribosomes, Membranes abd Energy gradients. But those things also require DNA to exist. Itโ€™s a circular dependency, like needing a 3D printer to print a 3D printer. Itโ€™s called the โ€œChicken and Eggโ€ problem btw chekc it out

>Thereโ€™s just 2 genders, not 100.

Irrelevant. The point was that sexual reproduction is wildly more complex than asexual. You need gamete production (meiosis). Genetic recombination mechanisms, Signaling systems for mating, Often hormonal control, sexual dimorphism, etc. So my nigger If asexual reproduction works perfectly for bacteria, why invent sex at all?

>apes randomly stood up and tripled their brain size with no clear driver
No? This took like 5 million years of slow, steady changes.
>Humans just happened to develop vocal cords, complex language, and thumbs
What else were they supposed to do? Even parrots can fucking talk. Language isn't any different from interpreting other signals like body language (see sign language); it evolved because it allows easier transference of information, and even its preservation; this is the area where humans have the advantage, not vocal abilities themselves.
How is language complex anyway?
>26 letters

>Every ancient civilization independently โ€œimaginedโ€ gods descending from the sky and creating humans
Does it matter what they made thee fuck up? Gods function is clear: to govern the things humans are at the mercy off and cannot influence, more powerful than them, and hence mostly embody aspects of nature.
They couldn't explain it in scientific terms, and so a god did it, or at least governed it. Otherwise you'd have to confront the bleak reality that there's simply nothing you can do about fucking lightning or earthquakes.
>which shows that it is also intrinsically tied to legitimizing rulership

>Our closest genetic relatives are smashing fruit with rocks while we build particle accelerators
And? Fruit are pretty good. Particle accelerators are soso. The monke will probably agree with me on this so it's 2:1.
>There's a massive fossil gap between apes and us but don't worry, bro, it's coming
There's fossil gaps in every species more or less, and human's skeleton is fairly modestly sized, and so has rather slim chances of being preserved. How many complete, human-sized fossiles (of any species) do you see in museums?

I don't know if it's from an alien intelligence but suppose it's more like an interstellar buoy that's sitting around (it's all relative to the observer) and when an interesting star comes by it goes and takes a look?

Depends on how it hit the moon. One possibility it that it shatters the moon into asteroids, those asteroids keep orbiting and hit each other and gets smaller and smaller and that debris gets into the atmosphere and fries it killing most life on earth for thousands of years. Read the sci fi novel Seveneves to read a fun work of fiction where this happens.

If they are aliens then who knows what their rationale would be, they're alien. Maybe they've had their fill of species at our level of development which the galaxy is full of and they don't care about us and they're more interested in Mars. Much in the same way you wouldn't care that the abandoned library in the neighborhood you moved into was inhabited by stray cats. They see that we haven't been able to send more than primitive probes to mars which they can easily swat aside and they're going to "terraform" it.

The main issue there is the time-scale of the experiments. You can't exactly speed up time, and there is also problems with things like artificially speeding up the rate of mutation - there's no guarantee this will still be the same as (slower) natural mutation.
Not like the soup would need to form amino-acids exactly, there's amino acids in comets and on other planets; they are quite common and somewhat unremarkable, and odds are there were some soup components, spices, that we do not know about, and of course conditions also changed or develops, maybe as the clump of wannabe cells floated around into some different zone by accident. It is a central part of evolution that these things fail a trillion times before they succeed and find the "solution" by pure chance.
Ultimately the entire function of life is an exploit of sorts.
>a chemical reaction tries to react everything within its reach
>but there are 137 other chemical reactions also doing this
>this somehow creates a self-replicating balance
>that becomes "agreed upon" because otherwise the entire reaction cluster dies
>meaning the chemical reactions become mutually reliant on their continuity even as they inhibit or moderate each other
Life is an amazing mixture of relative simplicity and extreme, extreme complexity.

No. Ejecta from the moon would be very slow relative to the earth so basically.. it would simply rain rocks, sometimes molten, instead of them exploding, which is mainly a speed issue, and orbital speeds are low by asteroid standards.
Also it wouldn't cause that much damage to the moon. It's a giant fucking rock. Bigger rock wins.
