You can't earn your way into heaven; it's by the grace of God so that no man can boast.

He could save millions of lives and still not receive God's gift of eternal life.

Christ literally said it's as impossible as a camel going through the eye of a needle for a rich person to enter.

This is deluded theology if he truly thinks he can just earn his way into heaven. Freedom and salvation come from God's hand.

This mindset—thinking he can earn his way into God's kingdom—probably stems from his catholic college education at Fordham. Religious institutions are notorious for commercializing and monetizing religious experience.
