One week is ass. That’s basically the worst time. Going through intake with the mixed group not sorted yet by offense type. And you won’t get commissary while there as that’s handled at the actual cell blocks and will probably miss the one day a week you can put an order in (for the following week)

I had a cop and her boyfriend with some beef against me, so they lied out their ass and manipulated some Snapchat messages to get me thrown in the clink. I managed to take a golden plea deal on just a misdemeanor, but it was still all bullshit. I literally mean that the cops were in on it, the DAs office was in on it, even the first lawyer I hired was in on it. I honestly suspect even my more expensive second lawyer who was hired from outside the county may have been in on it. Really fucked up my life.

Start by documenting your weight, did they weigh you at your initial arrest booking or when you started rehab? Any doctors office visits around that time, you're gonna want a professional to have documrnted your weight, your sl cellphone photo of your mom's scales isn't enough, unless you e obviously lost 100 pounds. and find a doctor to testify that's actually how the drug testing works works.

cops charged me with resisting arrest because I asked why I was being arrested, and I had to spend $5000 on a lawyer to fight it in court, and also lost my job I moved states to get which cost me probably $150k in lost wages eventually

I’d have refused the deal, but my lawyer basically told me that if we go to trial then we will lose despite the overwhelming evidence I had.

Those cops tried to frame me for stalking - via harassing texts and phone calls - and the boyfriend cop is a very influential member within the LE community there. He called up the judge who’s in charge of bail and made sure my initial $3,000 bail - of which I was never notified and my mother was told didn’t exist - was raised well into the six figures. The reason he called in a favor to get the bail so high was because he knew that the contents of my phone would prove it was all bullshit. But if I’m in jail, then I don’t have access to my phone, and if I can’t access my phone then I can’t get its contents to a lawyer, and if I can’t get it to a lawyer then I’d lose. Fortunately, he didn’t know about second phone.

Fortunately, I was able to get my old job back and a 16% raise. The perks of having bosses that love you. I’d love to sue the female cop who was the person alleging the stalking. In a proper court of law, I’d win without any doubt - doubly so after she delivered written testimony to the prosecution and I can prove that it’s all bullshit except for who I am and how her and I met. Every other claim is bullshit and I can prove it definitively. We don’t live in the same county, so I could easily sue her and not worry about corruption. The only problem is that I plead guilty, but my second lawyer assured me that I can still sue despite that. Not entirely sure he was telling the truth desu. I only ever met the guy once and that was at my hearing for reduced bail - where he provided the prosecutor with a 52 page document of messages between me and the she-cop (thank you mom for taking the time to dig through Second Phone and assemble the highlights) and the prosecution offered a golden plea deal on the spot.

And in mediation I’ll peacock that if she refuses a settlement, then a lawsuit will make everything she’s done a matter of public record and lead to her losing her cop job, being dragged through the mud by the local and possibly even national news, as well as having multiple felony charges pressed against her. I doubt all that would happen, but it’s a possibility and at the very least she will lose her cop job. Jail was like summer camp as soon as I was cleared for general population, the Wood Boys threw me a welcome party, they said it was political or something like that, anyway I won, they said I won some keys or something and let me pick my bunk and plan surprise parties, I had fun setting up the parties, they said I was a natural born something I guess it had something to do with my dad being good at taking the wind out of people or something like that.

Yeah, the firm we went with after the first lawyer said they have the paperwork for expungement ready to go and will submit it as soon as the three year anniversary hits. Not all background checks are built the same though, I still had to do one to be rehired back at my old job and fortunately came back clean.

Kinda sucks that it’ll be an uphill battle to ever be a cop myself though. Don’t get me wrong, I hate the police as an institution, but it’s a very well paying job for someone like me.
