Russia Asserts Tariffs and Sanctions of the U.S. Represent Infringement on Sovereignty of Other Nations
Date: 19/08/2025 | Source: Ministry of Foreign Affairs (EN) | Read original version at source
The Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman, in a recent statement, criticized the U.S. for continuing to pursue a neocolonial agenda, unable to accept the erosion of its dominance in the world, as well as for employing politically motivated economic pressure against those who choose an independent course on the international stage.

Such actions by the United States represent a direct infringement on the sovereignty of other nations and an attempt to interfere in their internal affairs. Beyond these concerns, this policy risks slowing global economic growth and deepening the fragmentation of the international economic system, she asserted.

She continued as follows:

Russia believes that no tariff wars or sanctions can halt the natural course of history. We are supported by a vast number of partners, like-minded states, and allies, particularly among the countries of the Global South and above all, within BRICS, who share this perspective. We stand ready to deepen cooperation with them to resist unlawful sanctions and pressure and to help shape a genuinely multipolar, just, and equitable international order.

Russian and American ICBM development have different concepts. The Americans make their missiles to last long while being upgrade friendly while USSR/Russia made their missiles almost as a disposable thing with each new version being a (generally) slight improvement over the previous. Still Russian ICBM (land or sub) are still not anywhere near as accurate as American ones (Americans made a inertial system in the 80's that was so good and still so unmatched it was actually bad as it was overkill) and furthermore American warheads have been recently equipped with a "super fuse" that adjust the detonation point to make them even more destructive, your own military commentators mentioned this new technology some years ago and made the point that it was very good.

Russia still remains backwards technologically in relation to the USA and all they can do for now is to use asymmetrical strategies. The "super weapons" Putin announced some years ago are nothing but a reflection of this.

You ARE the dumbest gorilla-nigger of /chug/. Just read the actual text:
>The Parties agree that an armed attack against one or more of them in Europe or North America shall be considered an attack against them all and consequently they agree that, if such an armed attack occurs, each of them, in exercise of the right of individual or collective self-defence recognised by Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations, will assist the Party or Parties so attacked by taking forthwith, individually and in concert with the other Parties, such action as it deems necessary, including the use of armed force, to restore and maintain the security of the North Atlantic area.
The "such action as it deems necessary" part means that NATO members can do anything from nuke the attacker to send their thoughts and prayers.

i know what hypersonic means, unlike your fellow cheerleaders i don't consider Iran's MARV warheads or the Russian "dagger" missile as hypersonic weapons

Russian "hypersonic weapons" are "Hypersonic Weapons V0.5" at best, no one has a deployed true hypersonic weapon, they are all in development or development-testing.

Nah I really don't think you understand what calling a missile hypersonic means. It's obvious there's a gap. It's seems to a common trend among midwitd who think they are missile experts. Not sure why it's so common as there are only a few requirements to be considered hypersonic and Russia hits all of them.

and to add entire notion of "military-limited" thermonuclear war is stupid because thermonuclear war is last resort, if you are cornered into waging it, you are fighting to survive and are going to use all means nesessary to win. basically I see only 2 real scenarios of nuclear war
>using small thermonuclear weapon as a warning shot over some irrelevant shithole to force immediate freeze of conflict
>using everything you have, deliberately, without plans to negotiate which increase risks of retaliation, without halding back with a goal to completely annahilate enemy country and end no only its existance byt possible existance of the area it is located in by causing teutonic and other kinds of planetary damage to a location which would make it uninhabitable.

>“As a consequence, the US submarine force today is much more capable than it was previously against hardened targets such as Russian ICBM silos. A decade ago, only about 20 percent of US submarine warheads had hard-target kill capability; today they all do.”

source: https://fas.org/publication/super-fuze

today no Russian SLBM has the capacity to attack hardened targets because of their inaccuracy and land based ICBMs only do because of the yield of their warheads and makes them heavier and more expensive...

...even on the issue of nuclear weapons, ICBMs/SLBMs Russia is behind cheerleaders, stop being woman like.

>FYI a detonation in Yellowstone is projected to fuck over the entire world with a cloud of ash that would dim the sun for decades. You probably don't want to do that.
theres things much worse in any med or large-scale nuclear exchange
for example, all human electronic will be dead due to emp, sateltie system dead.
after that forests will be set on fire due to nuclear fireballs and that fire would be so massive and unstopably spreading its most likely to cause nuclear winter by itself in addition to fucking up oxygen supply.

Theres probably accurate models to predict outcomes of nuclear strikes but I dont have them since they are state secrets.

Theres a reason people dont want to use thermonuclear weapons, its really unbelievably powerful tool of last resort.

I agree with the first one.
The second one forgets "second strike" capability that both Russia and USA have. Even if you somehow wipe out an entire nation (impossible) you will still face a significant chunk of damage. For example: Moscow and SPB will be wiped out if Russia attempts this second option.
For me personally I want only peace. Russia and USA can never be friends, but that doesn't mean we have to be enemies, blini-senpai.

second option is exactly for second strike. since enemy is already destroyed whatever he throws at you wont be enought to cause anywhere same damage, in fact if you throw some interception and pre-emptive measures such as detonating nukes in the sea areas of sub patrols you can actually go out unscaved, but its not the point. point is to go for the win straight up without need to force enemy into surrender. the whole idea of forcing enemy to surrender by taking his assets with nuclear weapons is stupid one cos once he surrenders what ensures he wont acess some storages or makes new nukes and hits back. occupation takes time even if army is ordered to stand down.

>Theres probably accurate models to predict outcomes of nuclear strikes
That's why the guy who made them, a Vladimir Aleksandrov, vanished in Madrid in April 1985, a few weeks after Gorbachyov had been elected the Secretary General of the CPSU. Like the guy left the hotel and dissipated in air. Nobody knows where he is and what's his fate.

And his works became a new Bible nobody can't doubt. And suddenly Gorbachyov concedes one thing after another, because muh nuclear winter. Do you want a nuclear winter on Earth, scumbag? Shut up then and look how the guy gives the country up.

By the way, Aleksandrov allegedly built the model using an American supercomputer. For that goal he flew from the USSR to the US for work. Yeah, in 1970s, during the Cold War, as he was working as a secret nuclear scientist. Yeah, it's official version of events.

Later, in early 1990s, ome scientis dared to note the model doesn't work like that after Iraqis burnt oil wells in Kuwait. The impact was discovered, but for some reason it was really feeble, the scale was less than the models predicted. Well, fuck those conspiracy freaks from academia with their satellite images and numbers.

We have plenty of choice. IKEA is usually for cheap trash, while if you want quality work, people would usually rather hire carpenters than buy because the price is similar between a custom furniture versus a high quality readymade. People only purchase readymade stuff when they wanna start renting and they don't really care about using as much space as possible.

I personally am seriously concerned Zele would try to kill Putin during the meeting. It's not like security from the OTHER country would pat down the leader of their opponent, right? So smuggle in a 3D-printed firearm. Putin will be unarmed and no bronnik. Zele will die a hero like he always wished.

There's a fundamental flaw in your assumptions. Different systems were built with different levels of redundancy and failure tolerance. Old Cold War era missiles were proven to still be highly capable in the current war. So it's highly likely that even if US military decay is every bit as bad as zigger cheerleaders believe, they will still be able to launch enough of nukes to ensure MAD.

Wish there were more missiles and weapons pods mounted. I feel like Europe tends to try and downplay the fact that their military forces were actually designed to, you know, kill people.

I haven't seen that much western cold war missile systems in action. So i don't really know if we can use the current conflict as an example.
That's also ignoring how much retrofiting the Russians have had to do to their systems.

I think a really good example of how screwed western material is, is the Abrams tanks. There was allegedly as little as 54 tanks operational at the start of the conflict

They do not: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hungarian_Air_Force#Current_inventory
This also explains why there were so few Grippens
>In service: 12
>Leased from Sweden; 4 on order
So like all 12 are leased from Sweden or???

The bulk of Hungary's airforce are their helicopters with most notably 8 Hinds still in service.
Not a criticism though. Hungary is a small country without unlimited goymerican budget and an airforce is stupidly expensive.

>Not that I'm aware of, unfortunately.
yeah I think you'll have to work your way up from "let's arrest criminal shoplifters" and "let's deport illegal aliens" before stuff like that happens.
For decades we've been hearing the US talk loudly about how anyone can succeed in the US, regardless of race or religion and it turns out that many brown people from a non-Abrahamic religion called the US on that claim. And unlike the Chinese, Indians haven't stayed in their lane. It's only a matter of time before a brown demon-worshipper jeet is elevated to the SCotUS, for example.
So I guess the anti-Indian section of the population that's ok with action and not just venting on pol will need to actually do something.
fwiw, I wish you would stop H1Bs and somehow send back every desi who's not a citizen, I just don't see how its going to happen short of screenplay-level day of the rope stuff
