In china I'd pay 1-2 dollars for delivery, sometimes it was free, no complaints, only macdonalds hiked product price for deliveries. I never do that in europe, only pizza which has always been half a dollar cause they have their own delivery service.

The other day I went to a fast casual place that does teriyaki bowls. It was some chain in a strip mall. The zoomette took my order at the cash register and at the end of course turned the ipad around for a tip. I hit $0.00 and you could immediately see "that look" on her face when she turned it around.
I sat in the waiting area while half a dozen zoomers bullshitted loudly in the back of an empty restaurant making my food. A male zoomer asked the cashier something about not getting a tip, she responded "Oh I guess I didn't do my job well enough...."
I got my food and my bad for not checking it but of course they didn't give me any of my sides. After that I just threw the whole thing in the trash, no idea what else they did to fuck with it.

I tip very well, usually above 30%, and I order DoorDash pretty much every day, sometimes twice a day. I have never gotten a bad order or a late order in almost a year. They are always very kind to me, they update me if the restaurant is taking too long or if there's a lot of traffic. Sometimes there will be an insanely attractive young girl that delivers my food and she always smiles at me, she says she looks forward to my orders because I'm the biggest tipper in the area.

Tried doing skipthedishes, I don't know how people make money at that honestly. Did it in winter. Most people tip the minimum, which is 4 dollars. During my 4 hour shift I have to be on call. Might only get about 2 or 3 orders in that time frame. I get the order, have to go drive to the business to pick up the order, stand in line, show them my order number, wait for the employees to gather it up. All this time my car is idling in the parking lot. When I did the math I was spending like 6 dollars in gas for a 4 dollar tip. I just paid 2 dollars to do about half an hour of work. Not only that but to qualify to be a driver I had to buy their bags. Something is seriously fishy about people who are making money at it. One of their expenses must be covered, either they aren't paying for their car or gas. Maybe if they have a hybrid vehicle?

Your block heater needs to be plugged in if it's below -15 degrees celcius or your car won't start. After that your engine has to warm up, if it cools off it won't start again. On older vehicles you have to warm up your vehicle before you start driving. If I were to turn off my car while waiting I run the risk of it not starting again, which was happening to me (because I was trying to keep my car off to preserve fuel) so I had to keep jump starting my car with an emergency jump-starter I keep handy, but this is hard on the engine.
