Half of the deficit is created by the interest on the debt. The debt is creating a massive amount of debt. It would cost 40% of all the budget just to FREEZE the debt. There's obviously no political solution for using 60%+ of spending to pay back debt. Meanwhile the president is talking about increasing the military budget, which he has to do, in order to pretend like the US can afford another great war to project power.

This system will collapse, unironically.
After this the US will look like a completely different country.
