I look up the opposite to try and beat any bias. So I'd search

But you still get the opposite result - smart people tend to have fewer friends, which is the claim i wanted to see was true or not.
That's helped me become a bigger tool when arguing with people cuz you get their talking points too. I'm a huge PITA to argue with.

There are good reasons to doubt the number. There isn't a war in history in which the defender lost much more troops than the attacker, the attacker always suffer bigger losses. So either you believe 2m+ russians have also died or this is bs

To be fair to the hackers, the report only says 1.7 million casualties, not dead. Which is far more believable due to the massive amounts of desertion they have experienced.
