This sounds like emotional blackmail. If I thought my "friends" were emotionally blackmailing me then I would naturally start questioning those relationships. For some reason the the logic that applies everywhere else in life doesn't seem to apply to Israel.

Notice that the Israel lobby never actually offer us anything in exchange for our support? It's never a case of we scratch your back and you scratch ours. It's always non-reciprocal. We scratch their backs and they emotionally blackmail us so that we keep doing it. They steal nuclear weapons, commit war crimes in our name etc but we need to keep scratching their back otherwise the world will end. Jewish groups constantly accuse us of racism and seek to undermine our right to maintain homelands for our own people while demanding that we ignore their colonialism and support their racially exclusive homeland. If this was an interpersonal relationship it would be considered an abusive one.

When it comes to Israel everyone just magically stops applying logic for some reason.

Israel being the only democracy in the middle east is also a self-own in many respects, since that means that all the bad things Israel is doing is the will of the people and thus even civilians are complicit to some extent. If North Korea invaded Japan tomorrow I could at least excuse the common people since they have no say in the matter, but if Israel is oh-so-democratic then that means the common people are the ones setting their colonial agenda. Israel loves accusing everyone else of using human shields while they themselves do everything possible to blur the lines between civilian and combatant/politician. The mandatory military service is another example of this. If every Israeli citizen is required to serve in the military then that makes them all military personnel even if most of them are just serving in non-combat roles. Padding out their military with all of these civilians is just human shield tactics no different from Hamas putting bases under hospitals etc.
