The Bible isn't the entirety of Christianity. That's called sol scriptoria. The other part of Christianity is found in the church. The Orthodox church specifically. The roman archdiocese split with Orthodox church in the great schism of 1054. They have been deviating slowly from Orthodoxy ever since. So it's not they don't follow the Bible. The Bible doesn't have a lot of the details about structuring of the church or procession of mass. That's passed through living example through the living body of Christ. The church.

I mean yeah you'd have to be a complete imbecile to actually believe in Roman Catholicism in 2025 AD when everyone in the world has a pocket computer with immediate access to the Bible translated into every language on earth. It's pretty obvious they just took the old Greek and Roman pagan religion and copypasted Bible names over the existing mythological characters. How else do you get complete whackjob beliefs about the Virgin Mary being the CEO of Heaven who will give you good luck if you make a statue to her and bow to it?

I'm aware of zero attempts by any church to ban infant genital mutilation in the USA, Canada, Australia or Korea.
Officially christians are the ones responsible for its widespread practice here.
