The amount of people who buy into this AI scam is depressing me almost as bad as Covid-19 did. People bought into that fucking hoax so readily, and now they're buying into this fake tech bro grift.
I know several guys who work in tech and they have basically been gaslit into believing in AI. These are guys who I know are intelligent, who otherwise have very nuanced and thought-out opinions on a variety of topics, but when it comes to AI all logical thinking shuts down. They have drunk the Kool-Aid. They refuse to countenance that it is going to go nowhere and that we have collectively wasted trillions of dollars on amnesiac chat bots.
