Maybe since the lockdowns... Everyone is now completely inconpetent at their jobs, not too bright, often not interesting in any way...
I go to the bank (Raiffeissen) to make a serious deposit and they send me to the ATM. Or they tell me to sit and wait and forget about me. Or send me to a closed stall and I have to repeat myself over and over that I want to make a deposit and they want to make me jump through hoops and I keep repeating myself as if they don't understand and then make me sign declaration papers to deposit into my own account. No one cares anymore. And there is no essence to them anymore. They are empty husks, dead inside. They smile and behave normally butnI see nothing in them, some of them. I wonder if these people exist outside of their occupation.
I order stuff online and employees don't know what's what and make mistakes, if everything wasn't automated and coded they'd get nothing right at all...
Everyone is some day drinker / pothead on their phone / a call all the time, with wireless earphones on dressed like a Cyberpunk junkie type...
This polarization only really became apparent to me after the lockdowns. It has accelerated. How simple and limited people have become. Nothing of importance ever even comes into conception. There is nothing to say anymore. Nothing but to shut up, listen and pretend to care. I struggle to be invested in a world of caricatures. It's just an inherently evil silent abyss, life.
