Can confirm. I live in a rural area and when I go to state land to walk the paths, it's not uncommon to stumble across a tent or two. 90% of the time, the site is completely wrecked with beer cans, wrappers, and other trash. I used to walk past an area with some beggars, always hassling for money never gave them anything but one time one walked up and asked do you have some food to spare caught me of guard and thought damn he must be really hungry, only thing in my backpack was a bag of crisps and a can of lemonade so I gave him that and he was happy like a puppy
