Why are younger generations so ungrateful?
>Baby Boomers work hard building wealth their whole lives.
>They look forward to passing on their heirlooms to younger generations.
>Younger generations spit in Baby Boomer's faces and tell them they don't want the junk.
Why are Zoomers and Millenials like this?

All those kitschy cups and plates that boomers collected are literally the same shit as funko pops. I would have loved if my grandparents would have left ANYTHING for me or my cousins, but no.
My grandfather died years ago, and it was tragic, but then when my grandmother died she spent ALL of her money and assets to live comfortable in her final days.
I am talking trips to europe, vacations in hawaii, etc..
She left nothing for her kids or grandchildren.

My other grandparrents (on my mothers side) are living in debt, just subsiding off their social security income.

Tell me, what do I hope to gain from the elder generation dying off.
I am 32 by the way.

>heirlooms
99% of this is cheap Funko Pop-tier shit they bought from a Sears catalogue to keep up with the Joneses and maintain the facade of wealth and status, which is the boomer MO. Most of the time they didn't even take the china out of the cabinet for their grandkids to use because it would "damage the value" thus not allowing them to build a sentimental connection with it.

I remember my grandmother used to collect Snowbabies. They were common gifts given to her for Christmas. Over decades, she had probably a hundred of them. They sell for $35- $45 each now. Literally thousands of dollars of knickknacks that have no real value other than "they look neat." When she passed, nobody wanted these, aside from my mother holding onto to maybe five of them in memory of grandma. I think they ended up going to Goodwill.

Similarly, my mother has collections of her own knickknacks that will undoubtedly be going in the trash when she passes. I certainly don't want them.

I legitimately can't understand collecting so much useless junk. From a Millennial perspective, it's like amiibos, funko pops, or retro games that can be easily emulated. They have no inherent use or value, take up space, and are a pain in the ass to pack and haul when you move.

>building wealth
My grandma had a nice piece of land in Washington. She ended up selling it and spent the next 30 years buying random shit she didn't need. She would buy shoes that didn't fit her just because they were on sale. She could have invested her money and given my mother hundreds of thousands of dollars when she died. Instead my mom had to spend a weeks sifting through boxes of useless junk with her siblings. They managed to sell off some of it and they each got a measly $10k out of the ordeal.

Uh, because evolution isn't linear?

There was a long period where inheriting the teeth of wolves and T-Rexes meant something because the objects could be used for better killing apparatuses.

Now, sharp things don't matter so matter much as slutty holes capable of signing NDAs that based billionaire Harvey Weinstein chose not sign because he would rather die at Riker's with no pilllow than admit he raped somebody on paper for a mere $750,000.

See Candace interview if not in the know and want to be part of... those who hold truth most high... not recommeded for those who can't stand stand the sight of Mossad killing their loved ones for... profit.

If you are American and have even an ounce of influence, you will likely face massive suffering for truth nobody in a position of power will care about. Everything you care about will die. China and Russia destroying those in power of US/EU is to create a superior society is not applicable.

For every little shithead that wants to sit there and say the Boomers "let" this or that happen let me ask you: did you LET Palestine happen? Did you LET age verification happen? Did you get to vote on it, or did they just TELL you it was happening one day? What are you doing to stop it (not complaining, actuality stopping it?)

It's easy to scoff and say whatever, but remember one day you will be old and frail and the jew will be telling the children of that day that everything was YOUR fault because YOU "let" it happen.

Collectables are only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for them. All the people who saw value in those things are dying out and there aren’t many interested buyers left and the few that remain likely either don’t have much money to blow on trinkets or already have a full collection and aren’t so eager to buy up very many pieces which means the value plummets. It’s stupid to think of collectable junk as an investment or a stable way to store value. Most of the time that you see crazy high sales prices for collectibles it’s because literally that was literally the only person on Earth who had the desire and the money to blow on the item, they’re probably some super rich guy who always wanted a specific piece as a kid and one day it hit them that they’re rich and they can fulfill a childhood dream of theirs so they go out and drop crazy money on it and then do the smart thing and get that item insured which is where the real value comes from since they’re never going to find another buyer who will spend anywhere near that much on it if they try to resell it in the future.

It's just a few small things and old plushies that I got as a child. That's all I have from my parents. They didn't leave me anything at all. They just threw their children in the trash and didn't care what would become of them. My father fucked off when I was a teenager, moved in with another woman who had money and a house and then enjoyed the rest of his life with her, went on lots of trips and all that stupid boomer shit. When my sister wanted to get married, he said he could't come on the grounds that he didn't have any children at all. When my brother died, he came to the funeral, but he didn't go to the grave when the urn was buried. My mother simply drank herself to death. I had to build everything I have today myself. Unless every single cup in that cabinet is actually solid silver that was just painted over, there's not a chance in hell. The cabinet is worth MAYBE $100 bucks to somebody who wants it. Everything in the cabinet wouldn't sell for $25. Realistically the kids will get rid of most of it for $10, and toss the rest because it literally isn't worth enough money to warrant the hassle of selling it.

The jews didn't claim to be the 12 tribes of Israel until the late 1860s with the advent of political Zionism, and nobody in America believed they were until after the Scofield Reference Bible was published in 1909.

I can absolutely blame the boomers for "letting it happen," because they experienced a completely different America than I did and wiped their asses with it. Baby boomers are old enough to remember when Christianity was actively racist, when churches would teach that racemixing was a mortal crime and that sodomites should be killed. Interracial marriage didn't become legal in America until 1967. Do you fucking understand that? It was ILLEGAL for a white and a nigger to marry, prior to that.

You literally cannot even comprehend how good the world was that the boomers lived and grew up in, fuck the economy I'm not even talking about inflation. They had preachers on the radio saying that the jews were the Synagogue of Satan, they went to church on Sundays and were told to their faces that racemixing was against God's plan. If a white man fucked a negress or a white woman fucked a nigger, THEY COULD GO TO JAIL.

That's the world boomers grew up in. That's the world they destroyed. Nobody even talked about the Holocaust until 'Night' was published in 1960, racemixing was illegal until 1967.

>Kids want the 1800s silverware the family brought from Germany
Funny, we had that in my family but my idiot grandmother destroyed it. She decided she was going to polish it with silver polish having no idea what she was doing, ended up soaking it in the polish for days which completely dissolved it, rendering it worthless. Funny thing was it wasn't technically hers either, she inherited it from her dead husband and refused to let her step-grandchildren have it. Same thing with all the old records she collected, they might have been worth something if any of them were in good condition. Instead they were all so smoke damaged and water damaged that they were completely worthless, even the vinyl's themselves were warped and unplayable. A collector might be willing to pay for a good condition one that is playable, or even a damaged one that is repairable but when they are so fully destroyed it's just a heap of cardboard and plastic.
>>513592876
>plates that boomers collected are literally the same shit as funko pops
It's cool to keep some of that stuff if you like it, but it's just sentimental value. All of the shit the boomers horded was completely worthless but they acted like they were sitting on a gold mine. Most collectors markets are extremely slow moving, so you could sit on a beanie babie "worth" hundreds of thousands of dollars for 10 years of it not selling because it only sells to an extremely small niche of beanie baby collectors. If you have the space to store it for 20 years, great. If you don't (which is most millenials because they were disenfrachised from the housing market), it's just some horrible junk you have to haul around with you every time you move between rentals.

Did you ever think your grandmother did that because she deemed her children unworthy of a proper inheritance? Inheritance isn't automatic. A child should have to prove themselves worthy of inheriting the family wealth, and quite frankly, most children nowadays simply fall short of their parents' expectations. That's why their parents sell off all the family assets and blow it on simply enjoying their twilight years.

I also converted the gigantic pensylvania house china cabinet into a bookcase for sheet music and storage for assorted stuff like reeds, replacement piano and guitar parts, pennywhistles, violin I never use, collection of sax necks and mouthpieces and so on.
Then, her formal dining room we never got to use unless it was a holiday, I converted into a music parlor and purchased a bechstein baby grand. Moved the table to the regular dining room and moved that regular dining room table to the basement and I'm not sure what I'll do with it yet, right now its just a place where I dump stuff when working in the basement office.

what I'm getting at with my example is, you can repurpose all of this stuff.

no, I go to estate sales pretty regularly, to look for knives and other niche things, and every single estate sale has plates and cups just like that for sale, and they are priced at $40 for the set, and it ends up selling on Sunday at 50% off, or doesnt sell at all. some of the crystal/cut glass stuff on the bottom will sell, but most wont.

so, her cupboard, realistically has about $50-100 of value in it. total. Maybe double that if she has some Waterford mixed in.

after my mom's estate sale, I ended up keeping a bunch of stuff like this, because I couldnt just give it away, and no one wanted to buy it.

I kept a couple silver dishes, and a cut glass platter like the lady has in the bottom right of her cupboard.

They even get offended if you use the silver.
Who are they keeping all these things for?
My grandmother kept 3 bedrooms perfect, like an old fashioned bed and breakfast.
But under the perfectly laundered doilies, quilt, and sheets was a cardboard "mattress" which no one has slept in for 30 years.
My lifestyle is so much different.

I repeat: ceramic and polymers are not tangible wealth, no matter how "rare" or "pretty" it is. You are an obtuse retard. Enjoy your dumb worthless cups, nigga.

I have, 3 closets packed full of every cubic CM
A 20x30 garage tetrised to fuck and full of everything.

Boomers are hoarders.

All this is ""for us"" when she passes but she spent her entire life using money as a weapon and holding the things we want above us (delayed gratification to the point we give up) and sabotaging us so she's going to trip and fall and probably lay there until rats eat her.
Won't give me a cheap 50$ knife but all this is held out as something we have to be nice to her of we want.

I don't want it.

You don't owe them any loyalty.

Same here anon.

You should accept you aren't getting anything.
I recently found out what keeping up with the Joneses means, and TOTAL BOOMENKREIG.
Imagine having to eat rotting food mixed up with new food "so you don't taste it"

I advocate for complete and total war against the eternal boomer.

>Weren't spanked.

Oh anon.
I had being left handed beaten out of me,
And endless and constant threats "or else"
As an adult I don't feel feeling in my face from repeated blows to the head, after so many they pute on epilepsy meds and switched to slaps in the face.

First time I raised my hands in self defense mummy ran away and then dropped me off at my dad's.

>take up space

Imagine if you will a house where every surface was hoarded off and meticulously packed to its max capacity.

A bedroom where the only places a child could live are the front 4" of the shelves, packed full of books and magazines noone ever reads.
Two drawers and 20" out of a closet.

That's what it's like living with boomer hoarders.
Any toys you like playing with will be thrown out or sold, any clothes you like they see you wearing will mysteriously vanish, or be thrown out.
And if you work, what you buy will also be thrown out just to rub it in your face.
But the whole house is spotless, every surface is covered in knickknacks or pictures of everyone but you, not a single spec of dust.
But at 7:01am Saturday morning the repeated banging of a broom against your door for a solid two minutes happens.
Anytime your at school or away your room is raided and things taken, seized or destroyed for no other reason than "well I didn't know"
Any sentimental objects or achievements you put on your wall are taken down and destroyed, except one participation award for something you were shoehorned/forced into.
>Dude who signed it was later KIA.

Anons, when I advocate for total war against the boomer, and the use of chemical weapons against them, I do it with a clean conscious and a heart full of love for a better future.
