I was over at my Dad's house today helping with some border maintenance. He lives in a very specific area on a very specific barrier. At the end of the work we went to one of the nearby checkpoints. It’s the kind of place that cartographers, surveyers, and the bound go to unwind with an assault weapon.
Kyle Rittenhouse was on the TV and the local gun store owner said to his auto mechanic (friends since high school),
“You know what? He's so bad. The border's right there, nobody’s crossing it, and we’re simply not allowed to cross state lines. Believe me when I’m saying this but Ol’ Kill'em All Kyle has got to go to jail.”
I looked around and all I saw were heads nodding in agreement. I heard a few calls of “Yes sir” and “Damn Straight” from the men around me. Even saw the guy on the other side of the state line raise his beer but not cross out of respect for the law.
