>>513617493I was able to sell 600$ of raspberries, it isn't much but I grew ajout 90 pounds (I kept some for me) and sold it cheap at 8$ a pound to make a name.
I'm chosing what I should grow and not grow for next year, some things are obviously not worth growing because it's always cheap at the grocery store, but the raspberries are never cheap.
I also bought beehives to diversify my possible income.
I wanted livestock but it's costly and lot of work to break even in the end so I stopped thinking about it, maybe some chickens some day for the eggs and manure.
Tldr: fruits are worth it, raspberries especially.
>>513628510You are talking of he "traditionnal" agriculture, it suck yes; costly machineries, subsidies, debts, no workers, working the soil, parasites, unhealthy soil and retarded work methods.
The no-till method, feeding the soil with carbon based residues, works great; less machineries, less sickness, the healthy soil drink water and keep it also add isolation for the autumn colds, less money on bullshit products so you can be more competitive, less workers needed, etc, but there are some drawbacks; it me at takes a couple of years for the soil to fix itself aka stop doing retarded things, the tools are build for the traditionnal method, you can't do things the old way so you need to be more clever, people will go full-retard when they see you do things differently and will shit-talk because they like to be indebted for life toward the jews and spray toxic shit everywhere using the biggest and costliest tools possible for a selling price that don't go up and revenue that go down.
