Being an effective party isn't only about winning. It's also about using your power.
There are a few actions the democrats could do. Document the administration's actions and develop legal challenges. Maybe try to support some law firms, media firms and universities so they choose not cowtow to Trump.
They've done very little though. Harris fucked off for 8 months to write a book about her campaign, and now says she doesn't want to 'be a part of the system'.
The only times the democrats have taken action is to save their own jobs in the Texas Senate.
They don't have ideals or even competence.
