Trump promised on the campaign trail he was going to make everything cheaper: Rent, groceries, insurance, gas, etc. None of it happened.

2nd quarter reports are out and it's pretty much Trump's economy now. His policies have directly resulted in nearly 1 million job cuts, grocery prices 5% higher than Dec 2024, inflation overall near 4%, rents are up 20% and electronics prices up almost 25%. Trump actually said he doesn't care if the price of cars skyrockets. He lied to us for our votes.

Fast food restaurants probably want to sell cheap food. If their prices increase the currency must be worth less. And who is responsible for that? The central bank it is!

I also have the feeling that a part of the reason for the tariffs is so that the Fed can blame the government and the tariffs. People must be distracted from the currency devaluation committed by the central bankers.

What if elites hold no loyalties to anything but power at all? No religion, no races, no ideology, no nationality -- just a shifting series of alliances of convenience? That seems to me to be more in keeping with history.
