>Dezfooli laundered the money and bought about 25 properties, often using the alias “James Dez,” prosecutors said. After a grand jury indicted him in 2022, Dezfooli “continued laundering money, including selling property purchased with the illegally obtained PPP funds,” prosecutors said.
