It's hard to take Trump supporters seriously knowing that most of them were also Dubya supporters.

Bush was a literal colonialist. Trump is an isolationist. Although granted, their supporters are too retarded to see the difference.

A lot of two-time Obama voters have voted for Trump three times.
Democrats are now only for boomers.

Obama voters, Bernie Bros, independents, libertarians, and then in 2024 a ton of people who had never voted for him before.

a lot of the bush voters were nevertrumpers in 2016 and still are. they're the "compassionate conservative" boomers who think we should be flooded with immigrants because they provide tasty food.

Sometimes I wonder what would've happened if Bernie wasn't ratfucked outta the nomination in 2016. Who would win in a contest between left and right populism? Would Bernie attract a similar crowd as Trump has?

Trump is a clone (policy wise) of Bill Clinton. Anyone that supports Trump (unironically) is a fucking retard. He's a goddamn leftist.

>Who would win in a contest between left and right populism?
Probably Trump because he had more sane policies of the two, but a populist run left and a populist run right would work together so much easier and more than a populist right and a globalist neoliberal left.

if anything, all the trump shit is meant entirely to make people forget about the still-unsolved mysteries and crimes of the bush era. whatever i got my bennies, got my weed, if you faggots try and take my weed away ill slit your fucking throats

but democrat are le bad, the republicans are le lesser evil even though they betray the same dem we gotta support reps their our fucking sport ball team.

It's all so tiresome.
Either don't vote or say you'll vote dem until republicans help Americans and not just the 10 percent that gives them money for election.

The voting system doesn't work cause politicians take normal people vote for granted, thye will just keep voting no matter how we betray them , mean while the rich might not donate for our election running.

You are retarded. I know democrats don’t work, so you don’t know this, but that payroll tax cut for everybody (not just rich people) was substantial. You just don’t know what the tax rate was before trumps tax break because it’s been in effect for ten years

Hard to say, because Bernie was ultimately proven to be really weak. If Hillary had withdrawn for illness or something and Bernie had taken the nomination, all the dirty players who supported Hillary would have used their power to make Bernie do whatever they wanted.
Remember in 2015, Bernie was against open borders. Absurd, "that's a Koch Brothers policy" he said. He was napping or something and somehow hadn't gotten the memo that all the other Democrats had gotten a year or two earlier. Someone smacked him around and next debate he was right on message with all the other Democrats in favor of flooding the country with shitskins to overwhelm the electoral system.

Remember Bernie being literally boxed out a platform by sheboons?

Bernie was mostly a grifter. Trump was the real deal. That's why the reaction to him was so insane.

And just look at how little Trump was able to accomplish between 2016-2020, simply due to his naivete and lack of serious political capital.

Bernie is jewish and he smiles like a skeevy rat

if he wasn't from a socialist state with 90% white retarded liberals, he'd have no chance of being in the senate either
majority white places turn socialist for obvious reason, but they live in a fucking bubble

whites need a small of niggers to remind them that socialism doesn't work, like in the South

he had 0 chance in the general election

Bernie is not made for national politics, he has appeal to a very narrow crowd of people who think they speak for everyone, and having gone to his rallies he doesn’t even understand why they support the social stuff they do. It was surreal to watch him drone on about his economic policy (which he truly does care about) to a lazy applause and then watch him go “and uh… gay rights?” And the crowd went fucking nuts. His following was idiot young people with no real ideology, his intelligent supporters either jumped ship by refusing to vote or going to republicans, or had to go down a usually very public spiral of self delusion into supporting Hillary who had also been the lightning rod which Bernie had largely campaigned against. He was always going to be a bait and switch because the democrat party is terrible and dishonest, has he maintained an independent ticket all it would have accomplished is taking more votes away from Hillary and getting socialism thrown under the bus early, like what’s happening now that the party finally realized how toxic it is to everyone other than 18 year olds. I think it was a valiant effort to try and change the party but ultimately, it’s the oldest political institution in the country and isn’t going to be changed anything more than superficially by a new wave of voters.
