Rich people hire people and create jobs and opportunities and pay around the same tax per year as 100,000 people combined.

The average normie retard doesn't even know how much tax they actually pay because it's all invisible to them. They have to pay income tax on their salary. Various other scams like "national insurance". There is a sales tax (known as VAT) on anything the normies buy things with what is left. These rates aren't trivial too. We're not talking about like 2% here, it's at least 20%. Add in all the other taxes like council tax.

Where it starts to become ridiculous is when you look at something like the "local economy" - now that company has to also pay things like corporation tax first on the money they brought in and then it's taxed many times as it moves around from person to business in a cycle. You could actually work it out for a given country. Most will not. Most will completely forget about the fact they're even taxed so much.

That's where "tax da rich!" comes in. Because they are just wage slaves who've never owned a business and hired people they have no clue. That will think that rich people will just no react to being taxed like the cattle they are.

A good example of that is that daft cunt "Gary's Economics" who gives a football club as an example of why rich people won't leave the UK. Football clubs are often bought by weathly people as vanity projects. You'll find idiots from gulf states with a lot of money to spend and not a lot of sense buying them. Wealthy people will not be staying because of muh football.

One thing you'll notice, and how you know it's just astroturfed is how they make deliberately vague tax proposals like "wealth tax" (never anything concrete, what is the "wealth" you want to tax is it income? assets? let's talks specifics). I think that's purely just to pander to retards who think that wealthy people are like the caricature Scrooge McDuck. The dumber they are, the more likely they are to believe magical things about wealthy people.
