muh housing crisis
>zoomers think they should be able to afford a huge house in a desirable area while working at starbucks
>meanwhile every generation before them started in a tiny 800 sq ft house and busted their ass and cut corners to make the payment

We don't have a housing price problem. We have a zoomer entitlement problem.

The crazy thing is that boomers actually think they deserve to paid a million dollars to live in a house for 50 years. The house is 50 years older. It should be cheaper inflation adjusted than what they paid for it.

Minimum wage was less than a dollar. The cold war loomed over our heads every day. Interest rates were 18%. It's never been easy, you're just the first generation that doesn't want to work.

>house flippers
Those run down houses with a ton of problems and outdated appliances and cabinets are available for you to by and take on the risk to repair if you want. But I'm sure you'd rather someone else did all the work to make it livable again.

I agree. My first job paid 3 dollars an hour and I thanked my boss for the opportunity every day. I was happy to work for a living which kids these days could never understand.
It's really never been easier, I wish I were young enough to take advantage of the opportunities the younger generation has. When I was a kid electronics were just a fantasy.. now they have cheap televisions and computers at prices I can't believe.

Artificial climb: boomers are dying off. Gluten of housing on market. Gobbled up by investment groups (kikes). Local municipalities artificially inflating property values.
This is planned deconstruction and rehousing the goal being to move majority of Nation's population into kike cities.

For me to have an equivalent deal at the wages I make the house would need to be $115000, but there exist no such houses around me, $180000 could get me a shithole that needs 30k of work. So basically I need 200k. If I was in your situation back when you bought your house, I would basically be getting $2.44 / hour buying the same house. So no nigger it's not as easy as its ever been. You were making nearly 2x purchasing power compared to me today.

You're clearly not equipped to have a discussion about this because you think an assertion alone is an argument. An argument contains a premise and a conclusion.

Prices go up for reasons totally unrelated to the underlying asset.

End of discussion.

Since you were making 3 dollars for your first job, that must mean that you got that job at some point before the minimum wage increase in 1980, which would mean you're around 60 years old. Let me try to explain this in a way that your led poisoned brain can understand. 3 dollars is more than 2.44, 2.44 would be an illegal wage any time after 1980, yet the wage I make, at a job which is not my first, which pays well above the nominal minimum wage, only provides me with the purchasing power of 2.44 when compared with the 3 dollars you made at your first job that you got with a firm handshake at 14 years old. It is not equivalent you had it much easier when it comes to economic success, but you claim that there are more opportunities now because of cheap electronics? You're actually probably in the early stages of dementia you old fuck.
