Has getting rid of the death penalty ever made a country safer?

No but its not kosher. Let he without sin cast the first stone. Judge not the serial rapist pedophile murderer lest you be judged yourself.

Personally I think it should be abolished. I don't trust the government enough to accurately decide who should be put to death especially with how low the barrier for evidence is. Not only that the detectives and prosecutors are notoriously shitty fact finders and constantly push narratives even they know are bullshit, just to get a conviction. Not only that if your offered death or a life sentence plea deal than what are you most likely to choose? It's easy to say death but once your in that position you'll probably choose life or some 20 year plea deal. I mean jurors are pretty fuckin retarded and don't want to be there either. Not only that if you have a shitty public defender or even a paid attorney that is also shitty than your fucked. Even if you did get a good attorney, you can still be fucked. I mean it's all just how good the prosecution is at making you look bad. I mean there's multiple cases of people being put to death, even though for a fact they did not commit the crime that they were accused of.

Another fucked up part is the fact that if you go to trial, than get convicted for something you didn't do, and the only way out is parole like 20 years or more later, than you can't parole unless you admit to the crimes you didn't commit. So you could potentially be stuck in prison for ever if you are that adamant on standing your ground.

Not only that even if there is proof you didn't commit the crime but you exhausted all your appeals than your at the mercy of a governor, but would that governor really pardon you if it meant such a massive lawsuit? Not always.

Leftists claim that "Capital Punishment doesn't deter crime", even though they are put on death row for more than 30 years for absolutely zero reason.

They also claim that "innocent people may be convicted". There's DNA evidence for a goddamned reason.

Forgiveness from God and others does not absolve one from punishment.

No, it should be more common. So much tax money would be saved if life sentence niggas were just buried alive.

No, you should even let criminals opt into it.

If they opt into it, you can give them a last weak with a phone, tv, movies, video game console and $100 daily to spend on food. In the long run it would save tax payers way more money.

Even with DNA evidence you can still get it wrong. There's a movie called the Life of David Gayle. Worth the watch. It'll change your perception

God has never sinned, and He cannot sin because He is perfect in every regard. Meanwhile, God has killed lots and lots and lots of people. Therefore, we can comfortably conclude that there are instances where killing people is a good and righteous form of justice. This has been universally recognized in all of Christianity until very recently with the pope saying the death penalty is never acceptable, but I'm a Lutheran so the pope can take his opinion and shove it up his ass.

If I had my way, I would give them three choices for the futures.

The first would be their execution, immediately after the trial.

The second, to spend 20 years inside of an isolated, dark metal box, with nowhere to go, and nothing to do, and the only thing handed to them would be food thrown in the box, as well as water spraying them to clean them. They are released after 20 years.

The third, would be amputation of all of their limbs, plus making them blind and deaf. But they will not serve any sentences after that.

Even the threat of these three choices, mandatory for homicide, will make crime drop drastically.

We're called to judge...
People always misquote jesus when he said "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" because after that he said "go forth, and sin no more" which they like to conveniently forget

US has the highest incarceration rate in the world and some of the highest crime rates in the world in cities like New Orleans and St Louis. Clearly the death penalty is not working at deterring anything.

Wealth inequality is the closest predictor of criminal behavior. US has extreme wealth inequality and no social safety net. People become desperate and don't fear consequences of their actions. If you prevent people from falling through the cracks of society with safety nets, they feel less inclination towards breaking the law.

That's because it's NOT public. Executions are supposed to be viewed by the general public, and while the crime is still in the public's memory....not 20-30 years later VIA some "humane" faggot injection. Schoolkids need to watch the public hangings at an early age too. Do you see THAT happening in New Orleans and St Louis....faggot?
