The US debt crisis is becoming more visible in the markets.
The gap between two-year and 30-year Treasury yields is near its widest since early 2022.
At the same time, the US Dollar index is near its lowest in over 3 years.
Investors appear to be dumping US assets.

His answer is chat gpt. You can tell from the way it flows.
Anonymous (ID: olvvD07R) No.513678384
Chat gpt

Why would they do this?

To manage debt levels: If the government has extra cash (say from tax revenue), it can reduce future obligations.

To influence interest rates: Removing bonds from the market can affect supply and demand, sometimes lowering yields.

To restructure debt: They might buy back older, high-interest debt and replace it with new, lower-interest bonds.

To provide liquidity: Sometimes the Treasury runs buyback programs to make the market smoother for investors.

Impact

Short-term: The Treasury’s cash balance decreases, but the amount of outstanding debt also decreases.

Long-term: Could save interest costs if they retire expensive debt.

Market signal: It sometimes reassures investors that the Treasury is managing debt proactively.

Short term as in next few months? Not much. Mid term as in next year or 2? Higher inflation than we had now and more CPI manipulation to make it appear lower.
Long term as in 2+ year? More debt to compound interest on causing inflation to creep higher over time

Its good if you own assets which appreciate in value. Stocks, retirement, property, boomer rocks, etc.
Its bad if you do not own assets which appreciate in value. The currency of USD itself.

If I buy my own debt, it disappears. If I take out a mortgage, then the bank sells it and I buy it again. I become the holder of my own debt. I owe myself the debt I hold for my own property. Do I need to pay myself back what I owe? Do I charge myself interest on my own debt?

We need to remove 40% of the money in circulation anyway to make the dollar worth anything again.

The US military industrial complex spends 3 billion in a fucking day. The debt is

It quintupled between 2000 and 2023.
It grows by 1-2 trillion per year on average.
$4 billion is approximately 0.0108% of $37 trillion.

Now overlay this chart ontop of the sp500 and you'll see that the curve only predicts when a correction will be, not how bad it will be. The latter being more related to how much financial fuckery was going on at the time with things that didn't make any money. One thing is clear though, there's only one direction for inflation to go and that is up.

This debt-based monetary system is absurd and insane.
Majority of the economy are guys in finance creating, packaging, selling, and trading various securities that are just derivatives on derivatives on derivatives.
When the majority of our economy becomes unmoored from actual physical production of goods and tangible services it is nothing but a clown show.

First you sell debt in the form of bonds (which are basically just a government issued IOU), then you buy them back. Once you buy them back you no longer have to make ongoing interest payments to the bondholders which is why the government is doing it.

The Treasury is using existing cash from its account (the Treasury General Account, or TGA, at the Fed) to buy older, less liquid bonds ("off-the-run") from the market. In turn, it will issue new, more liquid bonds ("on-the-run"). This is a technical operation to improve market liquidity and functioning. It's akin to a corporation using its cash reserves to buy back its own bonds to manage its debt profile. No new money is created in this process.

There will be no collapse, no violence, no uprising, no world war, no revolution, no killing of jews or politicians or other such fantasies. Instead there will be law & order, compliance and total surveillance until the very end. AI will be at the center of it all.
