It was pretty heartbreaking when Russian tourism was on the news yesterday and they said that the middle income family has a lot of spare change and some don't even pay any taxes. Not because they were dodging them but they just have so low taxes in Russia and everything is cheap so they can landwhale rich their way into the west and enjoy 5 star luxuries for over a month before going back to Russia.. Wtf? I thought the they were poor but now media shows them as upper class (basically) spoiled tourists.
Meanwhile I've saved for over a decade to afford a house.. not there yet but about halfway so within another decade I can afford a home..
