This is very inconvenient and basically the only thing Russia has talked about removing, other than limits on their agricultural bank (letting poor countries more easily pay them for food).

direct flights to the US would be convenient for Lavrov specifically, since the UN is in New York after all. They have not made this request with Europe and don't care - I think the European flight restrictions suit Russia just fine.
