>USSR collapsed more than 30 years ago
USSR was basically soft coup'ed by Conservative Liberals after Stalin who fucked up the economic system and used the system to enrich their mates, who became the "red directors" through the 60s-70s, who then became the oligarchs of the 80s. Gorbachev was a self-admitted anti-Communist who despised Socialism, his wife was an anti-Communist activist. The failure of the USSR was really that Stalin purged the wrong people and the capitalist path was restored by corrupt liberals who played the long game and acted as sychophants, who used the system to start enriching themselve once Stalin died.
>Best Corea, Cuba and Venezuela are all failed states
Considering they are all embargoed to death and have to do all trade through corrupt third party middle men, they aren't doing that much worse than most developing countries. Cuba is probably one of the better carribean countries to live in.
Also you forget China is a Communist superpower with arguably the strongest economy on earth. This is because Mao basically saw what happened in the USSR with the soft coup by Liberals, so introduced a lot of bottom up policy and ideological testing measures in the CPC structure that allowed pluralism within the CPC structure, so it didn't all become wrecking and factional coups.
