People are so incredible uninformed its crazy. All of the things related to visas and ESTA and entering The US by plane, car, boat, whatever, has been so blown out of porportions its just nuts. News outlets make it sound like there is something new and horrible and so on almost every single day, while reality is that nothing has changed at all for 99% of all countries and those who travel.

I have been traveling to the US for over 25 years now, and everything is exactly the same process as it has always been.
Media is so fucking good at taking ONE single case that for whatever reason became a clusterfuck, and they make it sound like it is like this for everyone.

Its simple. Going to The US is probably the easiest country to go to. The only thing they want is to know you come there for the legal reasons that your visa or ESTA allows you to do. They want to see that you have your shit in order with money and so on so they know that you will be able to survive and have a good time over there. If you go on a vacation for 4 weeks and you bring $1000 to LA or NY, of course they will ask how the heck are you going to provide for yourself. Same with what you do and if you are someone who is going to do some stupid shit over there.

I am starting to get it up to "here" with all this crazy and deranged shit about people thinking they are going to be sent to some prison facility just because they are going on a 2 week vacation to watch superbowl and gamble in Vegas.

I have been flying to The US 7 times during the last 5 months. No problems. No nothing. Same shit, just a different day. Never any issues. No extended shit, no more regulations than before, no more sets of questions etc etc.
