My coworker is the most Jewish Christian ever
And I don’t mean he’s a messianic Jew, he identifies himself as a Christian but in a way that makes me extremely uncomfortable. I’m not a great Catholic, I sin a lot and I know it, but he takes it a step farther. It’s not even blasphemy, it feels like… demonic desu.

He’ll refer to God as a woman like routinely, got like red in the face angry when I said Jews killed Jesus (“IT WAS ROMANS AND DONT YOU DARE SAY OTHERWISE!”), non binary and overweight of course, doesn’t take the Eucharist (like not even the Protestant version), his pastor is a woman, ran a booth for his church at pride, CONSTANTLY talks about Israel

And he’s always critiquing my faith in ways I’m not used to. Like I always see people getting weirded out by our saints. But he like unironically cringes whenever I refer to God as Him, hates the idea of confession in general, and for some reason REALLY hates our focus on the crucifixion

Also I should note that he’s non binary, has literal blue hair, overweight, “disabled” (just lazy and wants to use a wheelchair), and thinks he’s actually Jewish but is unsure because his mom fucked so many men she lost track (also pic isn’t him, random stock photo)

Yeah thats heresy and of the devil
You kind of have to accept that Protestants might not like some Catholic theology. But the fag stuff and referring to God as a woman, is satanic
Whatever church he goes to is a synagogue of satan

yeah, its a sure sign of things being very off. remember that super popular book 'the shack'? that always seemed some strange stuff to me. i think it sold so well because the basic story is quite emotionally powerful, but it used that to sneak in a whole bunch of bad ideas.

Look I ain’t got much of a problem with most Protestants. I might disagree theologically but I still think they love God and they’re trying their best to be good Christians, and I hope they are also granted mercy and eventually paradise someday.

But this guy gives me the worst feeling ever. It legit feels like he’s possessed, honestly I don’t even really feel comfortable referring to him as a Protestant (even if he technically is) because he’s just so far removed from every prottie I’ve ever met.

I dont. QRD?
This heresy of fag acceptance and "God is a woman" , is not all Protestants. There are plenty who agree that that is heresy and also dont have women preaching because it is contrary to scripture.
The woman pastor is not as inherently problematic as the fag acceptance and saying "God is a woman" . My cousin in another state took me to their church when I visited them and a woman was preaching. Nothing she said was wrong, but it still bothered me that she was preaching. She denounded fag acceptance during her sermon.
The amount of synagogues of satans is high right now. And the Catholic Church is not immune. Read Infiltration by Taylor Marshall. He covers this. USCCB and USCCP are kind of pozzed. Some Bishops and Priests are pushing for fag acceptance and women's ordination.

Yeah I know I’m kinda bitching but I do work with the fuck. I don’t really have a choice in the matter. And I know you’ll say I can quit but

1: not really a great option in this economy
2: I like my job, I work with kids who need help, it’s important and I care about the kids. A job like this doesn’t come often, and I want to stick around for them

>feels like he’s possessed
Actual possession is rare, he could be. He's definitely under diabolic influence and doing the will of the devil, and that can lead to possession
A layman cant really tell possession without seeing someone manifest or do some spoopy preternatural stuff like levitate or remote viewing. Know hidden things about you. Freeze or heat the air in the room. There are exorcists who talk about this you can watch on you tube if you want to know more. If you see this guy shape shift, you'll know he's possessed. As is, he is on the road to hell. Matthew 7:23

A man’s daughter is raped and murdered. Years later he encounters God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit to help him work through it. God is depicted as a woman for most of it.

But at least in that case it makes sense because it’s explained the man was abused heavily by his father so God took the appearance of a woman because it made him more receptive to help

it was one of those huge christian book fads back in the early 2000s. everyone was into it. the basic story is that of a guy whos daughter was kidnapped and murdered and about his dealing with that in terms of his Christian faith. A very tough subject and a powerfully emotional read. but it used that story to bring all kinds of bad theology, including having God (can't remember which Person) appear as a fat jolly black woman, against all Biblical evidence and obviously just attempting to be 'woke' etc. thats what reminded me of it.

> but it still bothered me that she was preaching.
because its simply not Biblical. that church is already on the downgrade and its almost 100% certain that they will eventually change their stance on other issues, including homosexuality. thats what always happens, because they are already explaining away clear Biblical texts about no women pastors over the whole church, because thats what they feel is right.
>And the Catholic Church is not immune.
no, very much its not. their centralized control slows somethings down for sure, but the vatican is at the same time reluctant to start coming down hard on its liberal wing because they dont want any divisions on display to the world.

Where in the Bible does it say this? Or is this just some anecdote?

Sure this wasnt the The Most Holy Virgin Mary or an angel appearing as a woman?

Too small, and yeah we gotta be in the same room for 8-10 hours, constant supervision of the kids is something that’s not an option. Oh and uh, yeah that’s something else I should have mentioned. We work with kids. No way in FUCK I’m leaving that guy there around kids alone. I’m too scared to take a piss in the middle of my shift at this point

And yeah “go to HR” is the obvious thing. Yeah I tried, they won’t listen. And I can’t file a report unless something actually happens so I’m having to resort to keeping a close eye on him

its a nice idea in some ways....but its not Biblical. thats all. reconciling with God as He is and has described Himself is part of what happens when He saves us - healing us that have been harmed by our physical father. avoiding that isn't helpful

No, the character explicitly says she is God. Later on once the man worked through his trauma God takes on the appearance of a man again.

Yeah it’s still blasphemous, but I don’t think the author was trying to prophane God or even imply He’s a woman. I think she just wanted to give a different perspective on God. It didn’t work, but I see what she was trying to do.

Sounds like a trash book and its not the Bible. Dont know why people get their theology from that rather than the Bible or Christians like Thomas Aquinas or the early church fathers. Im gonna trust Aquinas over that trash book, if im looking for theology thats not the Bible.

Yeah, this tracks with what I've seen in Christianity, especially in America. The people on here ridiculously overestimate their power over the US government.
I said it before and I'll say it again, the only reason the USA is a simp for Israel is because of its Christian populace. American Christianity has always been uniquely batshit and fundamentalist, since the very beginning. And they all worship Israel, they all name their kids Old Testament names, and they all think they'll be destroyed by Yawheh if they don't give all their shekels to Israel.

well, showing the Holy Spirit as a woman also tends to be some what of sign that a persons theology is veering off into strange territory. there just no reason or need to do that kind of thing unless you're trying to push something.

like i say, the basic story is quite powerful. it deals with issues that can affect us all. its just such a shame that it seems to be used as a way to sneak in unbiblical concepts.

its just a modern form of questions that have always been part of serious Christian thought made more accessible to a popular audience. the problem is that because of its strong emotionality it captured the thinking of many back in the day. being led by emotions is often the route to heresy....thats how acceptance of homosexuality as been done, for example - its always 'oh, we should be accepting and loving' etc etc, without any reference to what those words actually mean in terms of the Bible.

Tell him if he believes Gods chosen people are Jews then he is not a Christian.

Christians are gods chosen people. Not Jews. Ethnic Jews can become saved/God's chosen, but they have to become Christian.

Correct. More people need to know this
>1 Peter 2: [9] But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. [10] Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

Jews killed Jesus, but so did everyone else. Jesus died because he took all the sin in the world onto himself. If you sinned then you killed Jesus. So if you are attempting to witness to this man you would need to keep that in mind.

You have to be evangelical or something because the old testament is literally all about jews killing prophets and messengers.

Jeremiah 26:20–23
>Uriah son of Shemaiah prophesied in the name of the LORD... when King Jehoiakim and his officers heard his words, the king sought to put him to death... they brought Uriah out of Egypt and struck him down with the sword.

1 Kings 19:10
>"The Israelites have forsaken your covenant, thrown down your altars, and killed your prophets with the sword..."

Nehemiah 9:26
>"Nevertheless they were disobedient and rebelled against you and cast your law behind their back and killed your prophets..."

Obviously the romans physically killed Jesus, there's no denying that but the NT literally says that it was the pharisees and scribes who pushed for it.
What do you think of these verses?

Matthew 23:29–37
>“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those sent to her...”

Acts 7:51–52
>“Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? They killed those who announced beforehand the coming of the Righteous One, whom you have now betrayed and murdered.”

John 11:47–53
>the chief priests and Pharisees convene the council and plot that “it is better that one man die for the people.”
