I fully agree that guns should be available for every citizen of the United States.

I, however, demand that the standard for what constitutes a citizen of the United States needs to be raised.

currently it is, " I was born in the US, or I was born to citizens of the United States, or I was naturalized through a legal process to be a citizen of the US."

I would, instead add additional requirements, such as:

The standard for who could vote in states was up to the state legislatures, but the original 13 colonies mandated that only White men with no debts and no criminal records were to be considered citizens. It was only until the civil war where mass MALE enfranchisement was legal. Sure, some states were laxing the standard by that time, but it only became official during the civil war.
