just think realistically, i know that having the same person in the highest post for 10+ years can simply feel "boring", especially if you're a hot-blooded jugos and you cannot stay in the same position for a long time, but truth is, for a country like Serbia this kind of stability is necessary to tackle serious issues Serbia faces. Vucic has already done a lot of good things, no one before him was investing in development of the country and economy so much either. That is true but that doesn't mean Vucic is good, it either means Serbs are worthless or that our politics are a controlled clown show, it's probably a mixture, and more of the latter one considering half of the population outright didn't vote in the past and many people still voted against him but got outvoted by old people, gypsies and the blackmailed government workers.
I live here so I can tell you that despite the on-paper progress of the country, we got a broken mentally ill society with broken values being propagated in return.
Why is the progress only good on paper? Okay, they paved 100km of roads, but they'll have to repave parts again in 3 months because the mixture they used is garbage. And we also paid much more than we should.
This cycle repeats. Things get done, but flimsily, and we overpay for everything because he's laundering money.

This is not sustainable. So no coincidence that after more than a decade of his rule, you're seeing the biggest spike in protests and a drop of his popularity.

Half of the population are registered members of political party that is in power. They pay people to vote, produce imaginary voters, manipulate older people by brainwashing on state TV and other satelite TV stations. Political opposition is extremely weak and compromised, in most cases opposition is just an illusion produced by the ruling party/president/prime minister, that can never win. Protesters that started out as a "non violent" group started throwing eggs, paint and bottles at cops at the very start of these protests. They were LIVID that they didnt bait out the desired reaction from our cops, so they went full ape mode. They even smashed some goverment buildings and then wondered why are they getting arrested.
