My public school had the most resources for retarded kids so all the retards in the school district got shipped to my high school. They had classes called "life skills" where they taught them how to use a washing machine and other basic skills. And got them jobs at Wendy's or McDonald's or bagging groceries, so they'd be set up with something after graduation and know some basic life skills

I like cooking but I avoid it as much as possible because I fucking hate washing dishes and pans. Every time I cook something it's 20-30 minutes of preparation, followed by like 15 minutes of eating, followed by another half hour of washing all the dishes I used because if you let the dishes pile up it only gets worse.

I blame schools, I took a cooking class in grade 10 and it was a full industrial kitchen that taught us everything short of using a blowtorch because you were only allowed to use those in shop class.
