weirdly enough that's apparently how close we are to the end of the world. 2030 is supposed to be very dicey. also on /x/ there are claims that sept 23 of this year is a special date for some big happening. ever since elites took full control, every start of a new decade has been tumultuous:
2000-2001: dotcom boom/bust, 9-11, start of the GWOT
2008-2010: global fin crisis (many newfags are still too young and don't remember what happened even if they lived through it)
2019-2020: covid
i think this is why there's both a mad rush to get rich quick, as well as a hesitance to start a family. it's all connected to high living costs, high hedonism, and a sense that humanity is about to get REKT.
