I helped identify a Candy Apple Wax Cap for an Anon here just yesterday. I have myself seen Earth Stars and even the Giant Puffball but only after edible fruiting stage.

Te Papa Collections Online is a good one. The museum even has the originally described specimens which were first named. iNaturalist is good too for the latest sighted specimens.

Can't be done by pollination since it's Monotypic. Nothing known fertile with it. Though a Water Wheel Plant hybrid with a Venus Fly Trap is possible but the offspring would be rather redundant.

Very cool. It was able to identify my orchid as belonging to the paphiopedilum group, just by photo.

I am officially Irish/Cornish in background but I do have South Siberian ancestry which might have come their way. A lot in common with Turks, Dene and Uralics.
