The jury of seven women and five men reached their verdicts after about an hour of deliberations following a two-day trial.

Recorder Peter Makepeace KC said he would need a report from the Probation Service before passing sentence.

He said imprisonment was possible and granted Watkin bail, with sentencing provisionally listed for 10 October.

Watkin must also sign the sex offender register within three days, the judge said.

No the story is much different.
The "woman" is a biological man, transgender woman.
The woman pretended to be a biological woman on her period and got the guy to go on a date with her, didn't let him feel her up because he would have figured out his real sex.
She eventually told him, and he was repelled, ended the date and had the transwoman charged with sexual assault for leading him on.
The transwoman was convicted of sexual assault not rape.

It could have been worse. If clothes came off and the guy saw a dick where he was expecting to see a pussy, a "trap", there's no telling what he could have done in that state of excitement.
